MORE than 50 people attended the annual skittles evening at the Hale Institute in Farnham, which raised £630 for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

Maureen Williams, Lorraine Martin and Ruth Hicks organised the evening. Maureen said: “The skittles evening was was supported by so many local people. We had a fantastic compere and scorer in Geoff Wallis, who we would like to give special thanks to and everyone who attended.

“We had over 50 people attend and we provided them with a supper of French bread, pate, cheeses, pork pies, sausage rolls, tomatoes and pickles.

“A massive total was raised by these very generous people plus we all had a fun evening and many people generously donated raffle prizes and also bought our greetings cards.”
