FIRED-UP organisers of Petersfield's annual bonfire and fireworks extravaganza are expecting next week's celebration to go with a bang.
Last year's seasonal sizzler raked in more than £6,000 for myriad good causes but bonfire bosses from Petersfield Round Table have promised the November 1 fun on Bell Hill will be "bigger and better than ever".
Creative schoolchildren will kick off proceedings at 6.20pm with a procession of Guys they have designed and made themselves, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, and the fireworks display will begin at 7pm.
For tickets, pop into Petersfield library, off The Square, or One Tree Books, on Lavant Street, or buy them online at petersfield
fireworks.co.uk.
The annual Bell Hill bonfire night celebrations are one of a series in the district.
