A PRODUCTION by Showshack Theatre School made the Princes Hall, in Aldershot the place to be last weekend.
Always a slick and glamorous show, this year’s Showtime surpassed all previous productions. A dazzling and colourful opening sequence preceded a feast of talent comparable to any professional West End show.
Singing and dancing from tots to teens and excerpts from West End musicals, made this fast-flowing show a delight to watch.
All this made more professional and enjoyable by the presence of a live theatre orchestra led and conducted by the accomplished musician Gary Branch.
The show was produced by Pauline Thomson and directed by Elle Branch. All proceeds from Showtime go to Detecting Women’s Cancers at St Luke’s Cancer Centre and The Frimley Breast Care Appeal.
Showtime 2012 raised £11,000 and Showshack has so far donated more than £30,000 to St Luke’s Cancer Centre.
Offering a wide range of vocational classes and an established theatre school, Showshack provides children with a supportive, enthusiastic and creative environment for their development in the performing arts. For more information on their classes go to www.showshack.co.uk
