FARNHAM residents braved the cold this week as the worst winter weather in 18 years left a blanket of snow more than 10 inches deep across the region.
Roads and schools were closed across the area on Monday and Tuesday as people struggled to walk or drive through the thick snow, while others were stranded completely by the freezing conditions.
