THEY may be due to celebrate 60 years of putting on concerts in Petersfield but unless new members can be found it could be the end of the line for the Southern Orchestral Concert Society (SOCS).

Members were notified in a letter this week that a 60th anniversary concert planned for May 19 next year will be its last. The group is set to hold its annual meeting next month, but if no-one can be found to step in, the group will face closure.
