PLANS to site 21,000 solar panels on a 27 acre field at the edge of an Area of Great Landscape Value in Bentley have caused local uproar.
Residents thought the proposal for a giant solar park had been abandoned last year following the government's review of solar energy feed-in tariffs.
So they were shocked to learn that a different company to the one that conducted a public consultation exercise a year ago has taken up the project.
A planning application for the development has been lodged with East Hampshire District Council.
