A BRAND new adaptation of ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ by the Blunderbus theatre group cast its spell in three special performances at Grayshott Village Hall, last Saturday.

Blunderbus brought the popular fable to life through a mix of music, puppetry and storytelling, performed in a toy shop setting that also featured magical surprises.

The action-packed event was organised by Grayshott PK Pre-School fundraising committee.

“It went really well,” said the pre-school’s play leader Carol Houghton.

“We sold more than 200 tickets and it made a profit of more than £2,000.

“The performances were fabulous and it was really nice for little ones aged from three to seven as it was so inter-active.

“This is the third year we have held a fundraising drama event with Blunderbus.”
