PEOPLE can view proposals for what has been dubbed a 'south Alton masterplan'.

More than 18 months on from the last showing of proposals for South Alton, the Homes and Commun-ities Agency and local landowners, represented by Knight Frank and WYG, will be hosting an exhibition of a revised plan which would see the building of 530 homes, including affordable ones, to meet Alton's future housing need.

The proposal is to build on two sites: at the former Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital site, adjoining Treloar Heights, in Chawton Park Road, and an 8.9-hectare greenfield site at Borovere Farm, to the east of Butts Bridge on the Selborne Road.
