PHYLLIS Tuckwell Hospice Care has recently received a cheque for £516 from FAOS Musical Theatre Group.

“We are proud to support such an important local charity,” said Dave Sillett, chairman of FAOS.

“The money was raised through ticket sales for our charity night performance of the hit musical 9-5, last June, and more will be raised this month when we take to the stage again with Monty Python’s Spamalot.”

FAOS Musical Theatre Group will be performing Spamalot from Tuesday, January 23, to Saturday, January 27, at Farnham Maltings and on its charity night, which is Thursday, January 25, £4 from every ticket sold will be donated to Phyllis Tuckwell.

Lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is a riotous comedy that follows King Arthur and his faithful servant Patsy as they search for the Holy Grail.

Featuring taunting Frenchmen, the Knights Who Say ‘Ni’, a Killer Rabbit and - of course - the ferocious Black Knight, it’s a show not to be missed!

“We would like to thank Dave and everyone at FAOS Musical Theatre Group for this generous donation and for their continued support,” said Charli Quay-Barnham, community fundraising manager at Phyllis Tuckwell.
