THE Dalton family had an extra special gift this festive season with the arrival, early on Christmas morning, of baby Rosie.
Weighing in at a healthy 6lb 13oz, little Rosie Dalton arrived at 12 minutes past 5 on Christmas Day morning – just three days later than expected but on cue to make Christmas 2008 a real day to remember for joyful first-time parents Rebecca and Brian Dalton, of Riverview Cottages, Alton.
According to delighted grandmother, Belinda Dalton, thanks to the staff at North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke, everything ran so smoothly that mother and child were released by 9am and, together with dad, Brian, were able to enjoy Christmas Day with her, in Odiham.
