AROUND 470 visitors had the chance of a sneak preview of the new sports facilities on offer at Woolmer Hill in Haslemere last week.
It was the first time the doors had been opened to the public, and guests were invited to enjoy a glass of wine before touring the facilities, which include a state-of-the-art sports hall, fitness studio and purpose-built aerobics studio.
Keith Osborne, from Body and Mind, the company managing the new centre which will be known as The Edge, described the evening as a "huge success".
