Homeless people were offered free eye tests and glasses by Specsavers Farnham in the run-up to Christmas.

Staff from the store offered their time and expertise in partnership with the charity Transform Housing.

Those who attended the clinic were given the all clear for any eye issues and picked up new prescription glasses to take away with them.

Plans are already in place to offer more clinics in 2026 and will broaden the range of services offered, including hearing health support through wax removal.

Georgina Croft, retail director at Specsavers Farnham, said: “Working alongside Transform Housing allows us to reach people who might otherwise struggle to access these vital services, and we’re excited to build on this in future clinics.”
