SPECULATION is mounting over the future of the Vertigo nightclub in Swan Street now developer Pegasus has withdrawn its planning application for 13 retirement homes.
Campaigners rallying to keep the nightclub alive in the town have also been given hope by East Hampshire District Council planners who say community entertainment is of great importance in Petersfield.
