COUNTY council officers will assess the impact of a 50 mph speed limit on the Farnham By-Pass this financial year thanks to a cash injection from Surrey's Local Transport Plan budget.
It had been expected that the assessment would have to wait until next year but members of the Waverley partnership area transportation sub-committee (PATS) committee heard this week that an extra £50,000 has been put towards speeding up the process.
A full version of this story can be found in the Farnham Herald of September 8.
