WAVERLEY Council's portfolio holder for leisure has attempted to assure senior sports players that their needs will not be ignored amid the £4m revamp of Farnham Sports Centre.
Roger Steel gave his pledge after the Farnham Senior Sports Club reacted with alarm to the news that the capacity of the main sports hall is likely to be reduced from six courts to three in order to accommodate an enlarged health and fitness suite.
