IN just four months workmen are expected to start building BordonÕs new sports pavilion.

On Monday, town councillors heard that the final drawings for the facility, which is set for Mill Chase Recreation Ground, and the arrangements for the layout of the site had been put together.

Clerk Linda Tiley told members of the finance and policy committee that there had been a reduction in car parking to allow for bigger pitches.

ÒThe extent of the car parking could have infringed on the size of the pitches,Ó she said.

ÒIt would have affected the way they laid the pitches out.Ó

The initial preparation work started on the site in April this year, and providing all goes to plan, work should start on building the facility in October.
