SPRING sprung a nice surprise for 94-year-old Nora Farr from Wrecclesham with the blooming of a three-headed daffodil.

Nora bought a planter of daffodil bulbs from Frensham Garden Centre last month and was delighted when one of the bulbs sprouted a trio of bright yellow flowers.

The Bardsley Drive resident told The Herald: “I thought two heads was unusual but now I’ve seen three!”
