AN emergency meeting was called on Wednesday by businesses around The Square in Liphook.

It was called as Hampshire County Council revealed plans for major road closures in the heart of the village over the next eight weeks, starting on Monday.

The Square itself is expected to be closed for five consecutive days next month, sparking anger among traders.
