Trevor Wilkinson of Farnham was selected as England captain for the recent Home Internationals squash series held in Belfast, in the 0/55s category, against Ireland, Scotland and Wales, which England won convincingly.
Wilkinson's latest honour came as a result of winning the British Open men's O/55 squash championships last season.
The former Bourne Club player, who now plays out of Sandhurst College, has enjoyed great success in masters squash over recent years and has now gained 12 caps for England without a loss.
He has also represented the Vets Club of Great Britain in the USA and Ireland, and three times toured South Africa in the O/45, O/50 and O/55 categories.
One of his finest achievements was in 1993 when, with John Perrott, he won the Pringle World Masters men's doubles. This event attracted over 370 entries from 20 countries.
