SQUIRES Kitchen is calling for creative cake decorators to enter the prestigious cake competition at its special anniversary show this spring.

Dedicated sugarcrafters from all around the world will again descend on the Farnham Maltings for Squires Kitchen’s 30th anniversary cake decorating and sugarcraft exhibition from March 11 to 13.

Ahead of the show, entrants are being sought for a variety of competitions, with the chance to win thousands of pounds worth of prizes from sponsors Tate & Lyle, Silikomart, Fairtrade Foundation, Le Creuset and Smeg.

Categories include:

• Class 1 - Squires Kitchen’s 30th Anniversary Showstopper Cake.

• Class 2 - Big, Bright and Bold Sugar Flowers.

• Class 3 - Stunning Sugarpaste: Tiered Wedding Cake.

• Class 4 - Miniature Wedding Cake.

• Class 5 - Bake to the Future: 1980s-inspired Cupcakes.

The annual Squires Kitchen competition is highly regarded in the industry and to win gold is seen as the ultimate accolade for sugarcrafters.
