ST ANDREW’S Parish Church in Farnham will kick off the festive season later this month with a Winterfest celebration of arts, craft and hobbies.
The event will take place on Friday, November 25, and Saturday, November 26, between 10am and 5pm promising exhibitions, demonstrations, live music, choirs and fun for children.
Entry is free of charge and all the activities are free, with crafts ranging from seasonal wreaths and door hangings to spinners and weavers, lace makers, quilters, card makers, embroidery, knitting and much more.
Sure Start youth workers will be present on the Friday morning to offer fun for little people after their older siblings have gone to school.
St Andrew’s bell ringers will open the church tower to visitors on the Saturday at 2pm, and arts, crafts and refreshments will be available to buy throughout.
The event also offers the opportunity to meet the new Rector of Farnham, Reverend David Huffindell.
