CHILDREN and families attended the St Ives School harvest festival service at St Bartholomew’s Church in Haslemere, joined by Youth Minister, Sandy Clark.

A school spokesman said: “The service was a joyful celebration and included a selection of readings, poems and harvest songs including pieces from the senior and chamber choir.”

Families had been donating food items all week and following the service boxes of supplies were delivered to Haslemere Food Bank.

A retiring collection for Help The Aged also raised £195.
