ST Martin’s Hall Community Trust is to hold its public annual meeting at 8pm on Friday, April 22.
All are welcome to attend the meeting, to be held at the hall behind St Martin’s Church off Dene Lane, Lower Bourne.
Continuing its constant improvement programme for this popular community asset, the trust has just completed yet another long-planned phase of work at the hall.
This has seen the approach drive kerned and resurfaced, plus general landscaping, turfing and planting to enhance the hall grounds.
In addition an area adjacent to the hall’s main entrance has been levelled, providing two dedicated parking spaces for disabled visitors.
Much of the planting and gardening work has been carried out by dedicated trust committee members.
The St Martin’s Hall Community Trust was set up as a registered charity - No 1130666 - as recently as August 2009, with the objective of purchasing the property to save it for the present and future generations of local residents.
It is headed by five trustees and can be contacted by emailing [email protected]. For more information on the hall’s facilities and availability for hire, visit the website www.surrey
