STUDENTS from performing arts school Stagecoach Farnham headed to Somerset’s Octagon Theatre in Yeovil as they performed at a Rock Choir event

‘Stagecoach Rocks’ brings together chosen Stagecoach schools from across the country for a riveting performance opportunity. The students performed to more than 600 audience members alongside other Stagecoach schools who put together Rock Choirs for this event.

The 16 students from Stagecoach Farnham, who ranged from ages eight to 18, performed a We Will Rock You medley featuring hits such as We Are The Champions and Don’t Stop Me Now.

Principal at Stagecoach Farnham, Emma Beet, said she was “thrilled to be able to offer such an exciting opportunity to some of our very talented and hard-working students.

“Our weekly classes build on their confidence and performance skills across dance, acting and singing and it is fantastic when they get to show off their progress in a live performance opportunity such as this.

“They have worked incredibly hard and the team and I are incredibly proud of their work”.

Stagecoach Farnham runs on Friday afternoons and Saturdays at Farnham Sixth Form College for students ages four plus.

Classes consist of drama, dance and singing tuition with an annual show held in a professional theatre and plenty of performance opportunities throughout the year.
