A CAREER as a management consultant, and his duties as a town councillor have not stopped Stephen Mulliner representing Great Britain in an international croquet tournament currently taking place in New Zealand.

Mr Mulliner (46), who was elected to the town council last year and who has lived in the town for 13 years, flew to New Zealand last month and is currently competing in the MacRobertson Shield, which is to croquet what the Ryder Cup is to golf.
