ALTON College was about to go ‘Strictly’ mad today with the introduction of a new FitSteps class.
Open to the public, the exercise class aims to get participants fit fast while losing those unwanted pounds and “having more fun than you can believe while doing it!”.
Strictly Come Dancing dance stars Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite have teamed up with six-time world champion swimmer Mark Foster, a former Strictly contestant and an expert in fitness and conditioning, to produce the dance and fitness programme.
They have combined, for the first time, the best known and most popular Latin and ballroom dances with proven fitness techniques to develop a dance/fitness programme that is capable of delivering fast fitness results.
In Alton, the classes take place in the Martin Read Hall at the college from 7pm-8pm on Thursday evenings, starting today.
They are being run by accredited FitSteps instructor Glenda Edwards, who can be called on 0845 649 2582 or e-mailed at [email protected].
