FOLLOWING the launch of Green People’s national campaign ‘Change the World in 20 Ways’, Surrey residents still have time to qualify for the chance to receive £1,000 to do their bit to put community projects and ideas into action, and change the world for the better in 2017.

Green People, which is celebrating its 20th year of driving positive difference in the beauty world, is being supported by renowned anatomist, author and broadcaster, and their official science communication advisor and brand ambassador, professor Alice Roberts.

The initiative aims to uncover individuals or groups from across the UK with great ideas for making a positive difference to the community around them, however small it might be, and Surrey residents are invited to take part.

Whether it’s trying to get a charity project off the ground, starting a free-to-attend yoga class or perhaps sprucing up a local urban area, Green People wants to hear from people with their ideas and why they deserve to receive £1,000 towards their project.

Alice said: “There is still time to take part, submit your entry and get support to make your dream a reality.

“I am delighted to be working with Green People to spread positivity across the country. It’s a great way to make a difference and I’m looking forward to seeing people’s ideas.”

To be in with a chance Surrey residents need to send their ideas, along with a breakdown of how they would spend the funds, no later than Monday, July 31 by emailing [email protected].

Entries can also be sent by post. Full details along with terms and conditions can be found on Green People’s website www.greenpeople.co.uk/change.
