UNDER the capable leadership of Vanessa Breach and her band of merry men and women, a group of people came together in 1991 to form the Methodist Amateur Dramatics (MAD) Company.
Twenty-five years on a celebration was held at Liphook village hall to mark the quarter-of-a-century landmark.
Dressed to impress, a red carpet was rolled out and the fun began. Faces old and new came together, dinner was served, a quiz was completed, and awards were handed out. A sing-song ensued, celebrating a night to remember with everyone looking forward to the next 25 years.
MAD is now looking for new faces to be part of the next pantomime, both on and off the stage.
Rehearsals are due to start soon for next February’s production of Cinderella.
Apart from new acting talent on stage, the company is looking for volunteers interested in scenery painting, costume and prop making, backstage crew, dressing room helpers, make-up and hair, stage props as well as light and sound.
Anyone interested should call writer, director and producer Vanessa Breach on 01428 722813 or e-mail [email protected], or visit themadcompany.co.uk.
