SAINSBURY’S Local Charity of the Year scheme is back and the Alton store is looking for a new cause to support.
The store’s current charity is Hounds for Heroes – a Petersfield-based group which raises funds to provide assistance dogs for wounded ex-service men and women and public servants. To date, £4,000 has been raised for the group.
The store is now looking for nominations for 2016/17 and is seeking public input. Customers are asked to leave their nomination in writing at the in-store customer service desk.
The store cannot support religious organisations, individuals or overseas groups.
