CHILDREN are invited to join ‘Mama Mumba’ for a free story-time and craft session at Waterstones in Lion and Lamb Yard from 10.30am tomorrow (Friday).

Mama Mumba is the latest star turn by Gilly Stewart, who, among her many roles, has appeared at Farnham library and several local schools as the Viking god Odin, the Egyptian queen Kiya and a Celtic warrior.

The animals-themed Waterstones’ session will last about an hour and is aimed at children aged from around two to six years old. All are welcome to turn up on the day and fancy dress is encouraged but not essential.

Gilly is also currently running a children’s story-time and workshop on the first Saturday morning of each month at 10.30am at Farnham library in West Street.
