CHILDREN and adults enjoyed walking, singing and storytelling at Bordon’s Hogmoor Inclosure.

The event, on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, was organised by the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company, which is building homes and a new town centre at Prince Philip Barracks, with the Hogmoor Inclosure becoming a Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace under the scheme.

Families strolled through the woodland while taking part in a hidden treasure activity, before settling down to listen to DD Storyteller and her book The Mystery Of The Missing Apples.

A European fable, The Little Red Storytelling at Bordon Inclosure House with No Doors and No Windows, was also told.

Naomi Metcalfe, the developer’s community development officer, said: “We are lucky to have such great open spaces in Whitehill and Bordon.

“Everyone who attended had a great time, enjoying the range of family activities on offer.”
