AS members of the British Medical Association prepared to strike today over proposed Government changes to pension scheme, the primary care trust covering Bordon re-assured people that anyone needing urgent care would continue to receive it.
Doctors at Bordon's Pinehill Surgery were set to take part in the action, but promised to provide urgent care services, and the Forest, Badgerswood and Woolmer surgeries were due to be operate as normal.
The decision to take industrial action was expected to affect not just GPs, but doctors working in hospitals and other healthcare organisations.
