ONE young man came on a Space Hopper, bouncing all the way. There was an American Army Jeep, a double decker bus, and a whole fleet of limos as the students of year 11 arrived in their chosen transport for prom night at Amery Hill School. Friday's fun evening marked the end of their school days. For one night the students took on the glamour of celebrities as they entered, in evening dresses and tuxedos, the School Hall transformed into a Hollywood Oscar night by Graham Heeley.
