FARNHAM Music & Drama held its second Summer Gala Concert at Frensham Heights School in May, raising just under £1,200 for Bells Piece Leonard Cheshire Disability service in Hale Road.

More than a hundred people performed a wide range of musical and theatrical items on the night - including adult and junior orchestras, adult choirs, adult and junior jazz bands and musical theatre.

Jenny Daniels, volunteer co-ordinator at Bells Piece, said : “It was a brilliant night all round, for both ourselves and Farnham Music & Drama.

“I would like to say a huge thank you both Edward and Derick for organising the concert and to the 100 people who performed on the night.

“It was a brilliant evening and all monies raised goes to enhancing the quality of service we provide to the people who use our service. Many thanks indeed.”
