DESPITE the demise of a marquee thanks to high winds on Friday and Saturday, residents of the Anchorstone Nursing Home still had a lovely afternoon at their annual garden party.

Taking place on Sunday, August 11 from 2pm to 4pm, the event saw residents gathered together, enjoying lots of refreshments, including a buffet for friends and family and plenty of glasses of Pimms.

Also in attendance was the Mayor of Farnham, Pat Evans, who spent the time chatting to residents, staff and guests throughout the day.

Residents were overjoyed as the sunshine finally came out and the party was in full swing.
