SURREY Choices is offering a summer of fun and learning for young adults with a range of learning, mental, physical or sensory disabilities.

The aim of the summer scheme, which offers workshops in locations across Surrey, is to build confidence, while learning new skills and making friends.

It offers a wide variety of workshops, including countryside ranger, graphic design, radio presenting and photography.

Nicky Harding, Surrey Choices summer scheme co-ordinator, said: “Our customers tell us that they want the chance to experience new opportunities in a safe and friendly environment.

“The summer scheme is a great opportunity for taster experiences and helps people to make decisions on what they would like to do in the future.

“The summer scheme proved to be a great success last year, and we received some really positive feedback from our customers. I am delighted that we are running it again this year.”

The summer scheme started on Monday and each workshop lasts for one week.
