BUDDING young sportsmen are busy taking part in a rugby training session, at the start of a two-week summer holiday sports camp at Anstey Park.

Run under the Alton Town Council 'Active Alton' banner, the camp is tailored for children aged eight to 16 and will run from 10am to 4pm on weekdays, offering a range of activities including boxing, cricket, football, handball, touch rugby, table tennis and ultimate frisbee.

It will also offer specific multi-sport sessions which will include basketball, dodgeball, rounders and volleyball, as well as 'girls-only' sessions.
