THE Tilford Environmental Playscheme will be returning again this summer for its 21st consecutive year.
The playscheme will be open for two weeks from Monday, July 24, to Friday, August 4, at the Tilford Institute near Farnham.
The not-for-profit playscheme, run by a team of experienced playworkers and organised by local mums, aims to provide a fun, safe and stimulating experience for children with forest and wildlife adventures, visiting specialists, sports activities and science and craft sessions.
“We are pleased to be bringing back some established favourites such as Forest Fun Days with Surrey Wildlife Trust and Ranger Zoe, exploring mad science with the team from Sublime Science and musical mayhem with the Rock & Pop Foundation,” said committee member, Rowenna Lowden.
“We’re also really excited to be introducing some new activities, including a junk modeling challenge in Set Sail, a Detective Day where our spies need to solve the mystery of the missing bear and the imaginative Golden Ticket day.”
The scheme is open to children aged between five and 10 years, at £27 per day (£30 for Ranger Days).
Places can now be booked online - visit www.tilfordplayscheme.org for more information.
