Farnham Maltings has brought forward its popular annual textiles festival ‘thread’ to become its flagship summer craft event.
Coinciding with Farnham Carnival, this year’s thread will take place on Saturday, June 30, from 9am to 6pm, giving the festival a fresh identity, with added seasonal features including al fresco dining and activities as well as the traditional marketplace, expert talks and workshops.
Festival organiser Gemma Curtis said: “We are delighted to move the show to the end of June, heralding a crafty start to our summer.”
