AFTER a dubious morning with the weather, the sun shone on the residents and relatives at Anchorstone Nursing Home’s annual garden party on Sunday, August 18.

Guest of honour, the Mayor of Farnham David Attfield attended and spent the afternoon chatting to everyone while all the guests sipped their Pimms and enjoyed a buffet provided by Julia and her team from Connect Catering.

Natasha sang old classic songs to the residents enjoyment, encouraging some dancing in the sun. Flo, another special guest, sold tickets for the highly successful tombola, the proceeds of which will go to the residents’ fund.

The party was a great success with attendees relishing the sunshine.
