AS part of its ongoing in-store customer services promotions, Sainsbury's held a couple of summer awareness days, when staff dressed up in bright summer clothes, defying the weather outside.

Manager Vicky Farmer, who organised the 'make a difference' days, said: "We wanted to celebrate our summer and asked staff to come to work dressed up in shorts and T-shirts, which went down very well with them as well as our customers. Everyone had lots of fun, despite the weather not quite playing along."
