YELLOW ribbons were tied to Haslemere Amnesty Group’s tree in Town Meadow to mark the anniversary of the imprisonment of Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe.

Nazanin, a British Iranian charity worker married to a former Farnham resident, has been imprisoned in Iran.

She has been adopted by the group as their special prisoner of conscience and members are writing weekly to the Iranian Government to highlight her case, as well as sending messages of support to Nazanin.

Brightly- coloured labels were also tied to the tree with thoughts by supporters of what they would do if they had just one day of freedom.
