Fire, food and local flavours will take centre stage when the Surrey Hills Fire & Food Fair returns to Hogs Back Brewery in Tongham this autumn.

Following the success of its inaugural event last year, the fair will take place on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, bringing together local food and drink producers, artisan businesses and live-fire cooking experts.

Visitors can expect a weekend packed with cooking demonstrations, talks, competitions and family activities, with more than 60 artisan stalls showcasing food, drink, gifts and handcrafted products from independent businesses across Surrey.

Street food will be available throughout the weekend, while Hogs Back Brewery will serve its award-winning beers alongside a selection of local drinks.

New for 2026 is a partnership with Surrey sausage and charcuterie producer Porky Whites. Its Porky Whites Stage will host demonstrations and talks from local makers and producers. The company is also sponsoring a Designer Hot Dog Competition for young people aged 10 to 16, with the winner receiving a Porky Whites hamper.

Saturday evening will bring a change of atmosphere, with fire pits, toasted marshmallows, live music and fire performers creating an autumnal evening setting.

The event is organised by Surrey Hills Enterprises in partnership with Hogs Back Brewery, Porky Whites and The BBQ Magazine. It will also raise funds and awareness for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, which supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Surrey.

Maggie Howell, CEO of Surrey Hills Enterprises, said the event celebrates “incredible local food and drink, passionate producers” and the opportunity to gather outdoors around a fire.

The fair runs from noon to 9pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Early Bird adult tickets cost £12.50, with children under 16 and carers admitted free. The event is dog friendly, with dogs welcome on leads.
