A BORDON woman has received a suspended prison sentence for failing to pay her council tax.

In one day, four people appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court charged with non-payment of council tax.

One of them was Sarah Robbins, of South Hurst, Bordon, who owed £1,970.20.
