FOLLOWING the suspension of clerk Tony Groves, Bramshott and Liphook parish council's annual return working party went public with an interim report of accounts last week.

Working party chairman Don Jerrard defended the council's decision not to create an independent inquiry into the second suspension of Mr Groves in nearly two years.
