ARTISAN coffee roastery Cupsmith will host a charity book swap at the Crondall Church Rooms in Croft Lane on Wednesday, February 3.
Cupsmith was launched in November last year by Emma and George Crawford who roast speciality coffee beans in their barn in Dippenhall.
Book lovers are invited to come along anytime between 8.45am and 11.30am with five or more books which they are happy to swap or give away.
Those taking part will be asked to give a £5 charitable donation to be split between Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and the All Saints Restoration Fund which works to ensure that vital works and upkeep are carried out on the church in Crondall.
Emma and George will be providing freshly roasted coffee and cake for those attending the event.
Emma said: “We’re holding a book swap because we think there’s nothing better than taking time out from our busy lives to sit down with a delicious cup of coffee and a really good book.
“It’s a brilliant way of creating a lovely pile of reading for the rest of winter. We hope people will bring along children’s books to swap too.
“As a local coffee roastery and business it’s very important to us that we support the work of local charities.”
