PHYLLIS Tuckwell Hospice is looking for 10 willing couples to take on its Strictly Learn To Dance challenge.
The dancers will get sponsored to learn to dance over a 10-week period, in weekly hour-long lessons at Angela’s School of Dance, where they will be given guidance and tips they need to hone their skills.
Once the 10 weeks are up, partners will change into their sequinned outfits as they head to the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, to perform at Phyllis Tuckwell’s Strictly Dancing event, on Friday, May 27.
Each year, this annual fundraising event is headlined by a different couple from the BBC’s hit show Strictly Come Dancing.
Last year saw Aljaž Škorjanec and Janette Manrara take to the floor, while this year it has just been confirmed that the star dancers will be Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer, who is now Karen Clifton after the couple married last year.
Get sponsored to take on a challenge and learn a new skill, while raising money to help fund hospice care, which provides for those facing cancer, or another terminal illness.
