A PROPOSED new takeaway in East Street, Farnham, has prompted fears from neighbours that it could blight the area with "after-pub revellers" and anti-social behaviour.
Rumours are circulating that the former computer repair shop in Contec House is to become a Papa John's Pizza outlet, after a planning application was submitted to change the building's use from retail to take-away.
However, 14 of the 15 residents consulted have objected to the proposal, citing fears over potential cooking smells, a lack of parking, rodent infestation and unsociable trading hours.
