FARNHAM taxi drivers are complaining of over-zealousness by parking wardens since Guildford Borough Council took over on-street parking enforcement on the town centre's streets.

Last month the ticketing of a taxi parked outside Elphicks while the driver helped an elderly customer out of the store caused anger.

Since then another taxi has been booked in the rank on West Street, while the driver had left it unattended.
