THE Chocolate Frog Tea Rooms celebrated a fine turnout for its inaugural Macmillan coffee morning, raising £230 for the charity.

Staff at the Oakhanger tea rooms donated prizes such as homemade cakes, bottles of bucks fizz and a Champneys beauty gift pack for the raffle and held a ‘guess the weight of the cake’ competition.

Bosses at The Chocolate Frog, based in Oakhanger, also donated 10 per cent of the tea rooms’ takings to the cause.

The Chocolate Frog has been supporting Macmillan in a variety of ways and this year staff have already raised £500 for the charity.

The next fundraising initiative will be the Christmas market on November 29.
